“Arctic Love” by Heidi Bjork – Twitter Art Exhibit: Moss, Norway

“Arctic Love” by Heidi Bjork Twitter Art Exhibit – Moss, Norway   Twitter Art Exhibit: Moss is the fifth installment of an open international exhibition of handmade postcard art for charity, donated by hundreds of participating artists from around the globe. The first two exhibitions were held in Moss, Norway, the third installment was held in Los Angeles, the fourth in Orlando, Florida and the fifth exhibition has now returned to Moss, Norway. The idea is simple: artists around the globe receive a call through Twitter social media to create original postcard-sized art, which they mail to a local curator, who then exhibits and sells them to benefit a local charity. Artists must have a Twitter account and interact with exhibition organizers to participate, and help seed the event. The #twitterartexhibit was founded by David Sandum, a Swedish-born artist who conceived the Twitter Art Exhibit as a vehicle for doing good through social media and online community-building. This #twitterartexhibit is to be held in Moss, Norway from March 12 – March 26, 2015. I’m honored to be an ambassador for #twitterartexhibit and I’d love for you to check it out. Not only will it be a amazing exhibition but it will also benefit a very worthy cause. This exhibition will benefit Home-Start, Moss. Home-Start are a nonprofit organization helping families in need. Home-Start believes that every child deserves the best start in life.
